South Shore YMCA
Staystrong is a collaborative community program providing essential daily living support to cancer patients, survivors, their caregivers, and household family members. During the month of October, the SSYMCA celebrates this inspiring, supportive program. We are looking for volunteers to man our Staystrong awareness tables at both our Quincy and Emilson branches. As a Staystrong month volunteer, you will help our Y: - Hand out resources to those interested in participating in Staystrong as a cancer patient or survivor - Help visitors honor or memorialize a ribbon for our Staystrong window/wall - Receive donations that benefit the program and participants - Receive advise/wishes for our suggestion box to grow the program ** 1-2 volunteers per shift at Emilson/Hanover branch, weekday 2-hour shifts 9AM-7PM, or weekend shifts from 9AM-1PM
